"All Choi's Eve" (aka Halloween!)

October was a busy month, full of fun festivities, including going to the Texas State Fair, Country Critters Farm, the Dallas Arboretum's pumpkin patch, Boo at the Zoo, and of course, "All Choi's Eve." I was so excited and thankful to do all these things with Allison, Bailey, and Bennett because at this time last year, I had been put on bedrest. This was the first year that Allison really had an awareness/understanding of Halloween. She was excited to get her costume and when asked what she was going to be she'd say, "Doctor Allison!" Phil's sister Lisa had sent some adorable skeleton pj's for the twins. Quite appropriate, as she is an orthopedic surgeon! So we decided to get scrubs and a white coat for Allison, and Bailey and Bennett were her first "x-rayed" patients!

On Saturday, we went to our church's Trunk or Treat. Then we went to our neighborhood Halloween carnival at the park a few blocks from our house. Phil pulled all three of them in a wagon...so adorable! On the walk back home, we stopped at a few neighbor's houses to trick-or-treat. Allison loved all of it, especially riding in the wagon and getting treats to put in her doctor's bag. She kept handing us pieces of candy and saying, "Open it!" (which we did not do). After we got home and put her to bed, Phil and I went through her loot and picked out the candy we wanted. Then I dumped the rest of it in the candy bowl to pass out to trick-or-treaters. Shameless, I know! Here are some pictures of the kids in their costumes. Can you believe the babies are TEN months old??!!? I can't!
